De Wereld Federalisten Beweging Nederland (WFBN) streeft sinds haar oprichting naar het bevorderen van een wereldrechtsorde.<\/span><\/div>\n
Daarom was de WFBN indertijd een van de coalitiepartners die ijverden voor de oprichting van het Internationaal Strafhof.<\/span><\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Het bestuur van de WFBN volgt de oorlogshandelingen van Isra\u00ebl in de Gazastrook, de Westelijke Jordaanoever en Libanon nauwgezet en is zeer verontrust over de meest recente ontwikkelingen. Het bestuur van de WFBN wil dan ook in deze verklaring zich duidelijk uitspreken dat<\/span><\/div>\n
–\u00a0 alle partijen dienen te streven naar een onmiddellijke wapenstilstand,<\/span><\/div>\n
–\u00a0 alle partijen terstond de basis dienen te leggen voor een langdurige vrede,<\/span><\/div>\n
–\u00a0 alle voedselhulp terstond beschikbaar komt aan de bevolking van Gaza,<\/span><\/div>\n
–\u00a0 het onthouden van voedselhulp als een oorlogsmisdaad gekwalificeerd moet\u00a0\u00a0 worden,<\/span><\/div>\n
–\u00a0 alle partijen de autoriteit van het Internationaal Strafhof in dit conflict terstond erkennen en haar werk faciliteren,<\/span><\/div>\n
–\u00a0 het Internationaal Strafhof alles in het werk moet stellen om onderzoek te doen naar begane en eventueel nog te begane oorlogsmisdaden en de verantwoordelijken in deze via een bevel tot inhechtenisneming zo spoedig mogelijk naar het Internationaal Strafhof in Den Haag brengen.<\/span><\/div>\n

Over de WFBN<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

De Wereld Federalisten Beweging Nederland (WFBN) is al sinds kort na het einde van de tweede wereldoorlog actief in Nederland. In de jaren vijftig, toen het \u201cnooit meer oorlog\u201d- adagium hoogtij vierde, sprak het wereld\u00adfederalisme vele mensen aan. De WFBN was toen een vredesbeweging met meer dan 15.000 leden en vele afdelingen. Het aantal leden nam af met de komst van de welvaart en het vervagen van de herinneringen aan de oorlog.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wereld Federalisten Beweging<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Iedere aardbewoner heeft recht op welzijn en welvaart. De WFBN, opgericht in 1948, streeft naar een duurzame en democratische wereldrechtsorde, met respect voor de rechten van de mens. Zij benadrukt door middel van het vragen van aandacht voor wereldwijde problemen de noodzaak tot internationale samenwerking en versterking van de Verenigde Naties op federale basis.<\/span><\/p>\n

De WFBN werkt vaak samen met geestverwante organisaties en is de Nederlandse lidorganisatie van de World Federalist Movement met kantoor in New York.<\/span><\/p>\n

Wereldburgers<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Ook is de WFBN verbonden met het register van de Citoyens du Monde (kantoor in Parijs). Sinds de registratie van wereldburgers in 1950 begon, hebben wereldwijd honderdduizenden mensen zich geregistreerd, waaronder bekende persoonlijkheden als Albert Camus, Albert Einstein, Jean-Paul Sartre, Linus Pauling, Yehudi Menuhin, Garry Davis, Bertrand Russell, Jawaharlal Nehru, Abb\u00e9 Pierre, Sicco Mansholt, Sir Peter Ustinov.<\/p>\n
